Code of Conduct

Nicholson Elementary School’s code of conduct outlines our basic expectations of students while at school, while going to and from school, and during school organized or sponsored activities at any location.​  It consists of three parts, and can be found in the linked document below:​​

The Code of Conduct can also be found in student agenda books, Grade 1-7 and it is also in the parent handbook for kindergarten parents.

The Code of Conduct is subject to revision.  When revisions are proposed parents will be consulted through the Parent Advisory Council, and all parents will receive notification of any changes made to the Code of Conduct.

Each year, as part of a continuous improvement cycle, Rocky Mountain School District develops an operational plan that outlines the goals and strategies that will be the focus of the work for the upcoming year. This plan is guided by the current 4-year strategic plan using a variety of student data as the foundation for decision making, schools develop school success plans that identifies targets for improving student learning.
